Ahola is America’s oldest family enterprise payroll and human capital management company. The Ahola Corporation was founded on August 1, 1967 by Chester Ahola, a computer programmer, and his wife, Rheta, under the name of Keypunch Services in Avon Lake, Ohio. The company used mainframe technology to fill the data processing needs of local businesses. In 1970, Keypunch Services is renamed as The Ahola Corporation.
Today, Ahola is owned and operated by their four children: Mark, Jeff, Scott and Marja Ahola. We serve thousands of clients in 48 states and Puerto Rico and have issued over 30 million paychecks in nearly 50 years of business. Ahola uses unique cloud-based technology to manage the payroll, HR, benefits, time and attendance and onboarding needs inherent to family-owned businesses.
