Sonya leads Ahola’s Marketing & HR Consulting Divisions. She is responsible for communications and brand strategy for the Ahola Corporation. She manages all external communications, rich media content, social media, trade shows, website content and traditional marketing campaigns. She also oversees the HR Consulting Service, ProActive HR.
Sonya joined Ahola after working in corporate retail – specifically in e-commerce sales analytics –where she was responsible for inventory management across 3 buying offices totaling annual sales of $250M. She grew her knowledge of web analytics, search optimization, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment. Sonya partnered with cross functional teams including Logistics, Pricing, Omni-Channel Fulfillment, and over 300 national vendors to achieve strong sales results and healthy inventory projections.
Her experience in e-commerce helps her focus on the customer perspective within Ahola’s marketing strategies. She has shifted the company’s focus to support social media, rich media content, and mobile-enabled assets.
Sonya earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a specialization in Marketing from The Ohio State University.
